when i came home from squam 6 months ago, you all know that i came home a changed woman. i was on FIRE. and immediately entered 2 plein air competitions and painted, painted, painted. it inspired me to take a weekly painting class and create even more pieces. this retreat fed my soul, it is so much more than just an art class. it's the chance to be cocooned in love while taking these very scary steps towards ownership of art. i truly came home an artist; while also coming home a better and more grateful wife and mama.

luckily, i wasn't the only one that felt that frenetic, happy, changing energy. everyone that attended squam came home changed and put that energy to good use in one way or another. with that in mind, liz kalloch came up with the super fantastic-o dream of an art show specifically for the players of squam, teachers or students.

i'm so very excited to cheer along this idea and look forward to seeing all of our work splashed upon the walls of artstream gallery! susan was one of my teachers at squam and has since been an incredibly encouraging force in my life.
