We actually talked about that in our last MOPS meeting a couple weeks ago-- how dandelions symbolize love. As much as some of us hate those yellow flowers popping up in our turf, when the kids pick them for us (and they always do, don't they?), it's their way of showing us they love us! That makes dandelions the most special flower on Earth, in my opinion!
on the weekend, while driving to a greenhouse, we saw a little boy in the backseat of a car his fist clenched holding onto his bouquet of dandelions. he looked so blissed out :-)
Thanks for the comment! That was sweet of you to seek me out. We're having a really good time with homeschooling this year. I went back and read your comment to Georgia. I'm still surprised when I meet (virtually or otherwise) other homeschoolers. It's nice not to be alone! Anyway, I loved reading about the way you do your time out. What a good idea! My kids aren't quite fighting together yet (the baby is still pretty young), but I want to remember to use the "say nice things about each other" technique when we inevitably get to that point.
By the way, the music on your blog is nice. I might just keep the window minimized for a bit :)
