gifting

i'm feeling especially bloggie today. plus reading and catching up on a winter's worth of unread blogs. i'm sorry for being so absent! facebook sucked my internet and real life out of me i think! in my blog hopping i came to an old friend who was offering a new and great kind of giveaway. here are the rules:

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make for you!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done this year.
4. You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a song. It may be a self portrait or maybe even some creation I haven't yet dreamed up. I may draw. I may bake you something and mail it to you. It may not be big or impressive. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure! (Nor I at this point...)
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? The catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to post this same information on their blog and leave a comment telling me they did will win a fun homemade gift by me! Let's keep the chain of love going around!!!

let's call in having a "pay it forward" moment. just something beautiful from my heart to yours.

speaking of pay it forward moments, my dear mccabe is offering the most inspirational tool ever come up with. art camps for little girls, and you can be a part of it! using her workshop i'll be offering my own mermaid warrior art camp for little gals this summer. watch here to see my girls and a bunch of others. catch the spirit and come to play!

Hi Jenica what a lovely idea to spread. I haven't kept up with a blog of my own very well, but here goes. Let's see if I can follow directions

Okay, I'm totally intimidated by this. I haven't blogged in over a month because I got freaked out that I was a lame and boring blogger, but you know what? I'm going to start again and I'm going to start with this because I am a HUGE pay it forward fan. I think it's the only way to live our lives. So here goes!

I just did this a couple weeks ago, but I want to do it again! Such a great idea for a giveaway.

I love the idea of a girly art camp Jenica! We would totally make want to come.

This is such a fabulous idea! I'll have to think about doing it on my own blog. Of course, I only have 2 readers, so that might not work so well, LOL! What intimidates me is the actual doing of these things...I always have great ideas for gifts, or intend on sending out those thank-you notes, but it never actually gets done...

I'm intrigued by this art camp for little ones. Let me know more.

Oh my.

This is lovely. Last summer we had a weekly craft day and I've already started planning what we'll be doing this coming summer. (My daughter is homeschooled, but most of her friends aren't.)

This video inspires me even more! Really.

Thank you.

Okay- so let me just tell you how much you just opened my eyes. that video? that workshop? amazing. period.
I am so totally on board and will be signing up just as soon as my husband releases the credit card from his tight fist LOL.
I ready your post at about 4pm or so... drove to work, all giddy with possibilities for where that warrior gift may take me, dreamed about it last night and then woke up this morning even MORE determined to follow my dream of taking childrens art in a whole new direction.
you are full of awesome Jenica.
