July 17, 2008 at 6:04 PM consumerism in america is out of control. we all know it. as you walk down the aisle of a grocery store there are boxes with nothing more than a giant picture of your child's favorite character on it. and all they know is that they HAVE TO HAVE IT! or they will dieeeeeeeeee. they don't even know what's IN the box. shopping with the kids in tow is a constant fight over what we need to buy verses what we want to buy.
we took a recent trip to Sam's Club to pick up *just a few things* ehem. little did i know that it was samples day. why did we even bother eating lunch before we left??? they had samples of canned fruit, pizza rolls, salmon, popsicles, cheese, really everything you could imagine. they had drinkable yogurt cups, which my kids were extra excited over. as the sales grandma gave her speech she won even me over: no dye, no high fructose corn syrup, extra calcium, seriously, could a product get any better? *Only the GOOD Stuff!*
oh yes, just slap a picture of hannah montana on it.

I bought the same stuff about a month ago from Costco, but mine didn't have Hannah Montana on them. I want my money back!

Oh, that is too funny! My sister in law (she's only 10) has to have Hannah Montana EVERYTHING. I mean, she would want Hannah Montana toilet paper if they made it!
