today i'm trying to muster a smile for my face.
i'm trying to stay positive.
today i finally have relief from my gout. it's a huge relief and yet has opened up a can of worms, what is a healthy 25 year old girl doing with GOUT?
today i witnessed a mother pulling her baby and toddler out of a mangled car wreck. all i wanted to do was stop my van, hug the woman, and give her kids a granola bar. i still get emotional thinking of it.
today i was happy to pick up lunch for 30 people at the hub's work. our order prompted a woman at the restaurant to turn to her friend, "do you think all that food is for just one person???" there were THIRTY lunches, THIRTY appetizers, THIRTY desserts. thirty.
today i am happy to be cleaning dry-erase marker out of my carpet and off of my baby.
today i am happy to be plunging my bathroom sink.
today i am happy to finally have a working kitchen sink after our pipes rusted away.
today i am happy to be buried in laundry.
today i am happy to be breastfeeding my growing, happy baby.
today i am happy for burnt tortillas.
today.
i am happy.
