October 22, 2008 at 9:21 AM still trying to overcome these fears of rejection and woe. i present my week in paint:
tree of life
this one is still in process, since taking this pic i've added some cubes and collage. do you remember this one? i hated it, it felt so flat and drab to me. i liked the detail of the orange, but the color and texture were all wrong. i present to you the jazzed up version:

i think the orange painting is magnificent! oh, and by the way, i'm squamming you...
love them, but I can't decide on my favorite. wish I could see them in person to really decide :)
Love the tree!
I hate all the gushing I do about you and your work. It's so not me. Yet, here I am again, simply amazed. If someone were interested in buying one of your pieces seen here, how would someone go about doing that? I really love your work in process.
Now I'm no expert on fruit (or art, for that matter) but I have to say that your orange pulp looks amazing.
i like:)
oooh, love them. Especially the work in progress, although I love oranges and your look pretty juicy and delicious!
thanks for sharing yourself (and thanks for squamming me . . . loving my little butterflies)
xo

Love how the oranges turned out-- you beautiful, gorgeous, talented woman you!
i love them them all for different reasons...but i think that the tree is my most favourite piece among them.
i love its depth and richness.
i love them all for the same reason too...that they were created by you and the inspiration continues ;-)

Thanks Jenica for the paint day! It was great. And yes, painting acrylic is not as easy as one would seem. Your work is wonderful. Thank you for inspiring me to relax and enjoy life a little more by getting back to painting. You are Great! As well as your kiddos!
