October 20, 2008 at 11:21 AM when E wanted to learn to read it was a daily process involving plenty o' time, plenty o' stickers, and plenty o' praise.
part of me is, of course, a little saddened that i wasn't involved in the process. the rest of me is ecstatic that he is so excited to learn new things that he doesn't wait for anyone to tell him to go, he just does it. credit goes to starfall and playhouse disney for getting him so excited.
to top that off, i think we may have an engineer on our hands. he made this homemade catapult using a measuring spoon, a plastic web, and a toy ladder.

way to go! you rock lil dude! xoxo
hey, we love him too!
Oh, wow, that is so cool that he did it on his own. But I understand the bittersweetness of it. My daughter was similarily inclined to do it all by herself.
smart boy! he'll give his mom an interesting, exhilarating, and joyous ride!
Wow, WTG to your little man! My used-to-be-middle child is going to be the same way...incredibly intelligent, very private.
And also- you are SO PRETTY. How do you look so well rested with this many children? I look like a zombie!
A self driven mind
needs only imagination.
wow ~ he is magical :) that is so fantastic and what a beautiful glimpse into your lovely life, smooches, xo
