take two and call me in the morning... please

i'm a promise breaker, especially when it comes to blogging. i'd prefer to call it a *change of plans.* i would love to be able to post about each and everyone of my darling children this week, giving them their own individual spot in the meadow... but this week, *sigh* i'm not particularly fond of my children.

F is learning that it's *not fun to make messes* as he colored every surface of my bathroom, including the roll of toilet paper, with a red crayon. my walls are textured, so the magic eraser is getting shredded and my walls are turning a lovely shade of pink. i'm having him do the clean up, because i'm a mean mama like that, but of course E has rushed in to save him. ya gotta love that at this age she still LOVES to clean.

unfortunately, E (who is almost 6) is also the usual perpetrator of artistic notions on inanimate objects. just this week she took a sharpie marker to the computer screens, the desk, and the chair. when i questioned her about who had done it, she replied that it was G. when i asked G, she replied, *saisha!* and F concurred. when i questioned E about it again, her only response was, "i just don't know why i lie!!!" yeah, i'm not too sure about that one either.

last night E (have i mentioned how old she is) pulled out the entire strand of floss from the container. she tried again to blame it on lil G, but G knows better than to take the fall.

i knew my kids were sick this week... but does a cough and cold have a side effect of mischief?

It can mean that, if you give them some medicines... like, strangely enough, NyQuil.

We have textured walls as well that have had crayon taken to them. Provided its crayon and not sharpie... a good ole hard bristled scrub brush and 409 shoudl do the trick- that's what works here.

You, my friend are a trooper! It might be bad to say, but you may just laugh later...!
We just took marker of our tile floor last night! You're not alone! (I made Ben clean it up too...he did it for golly sakes!)

Hi. I just spent some time catching up on your life/blog. I've been seriously slacking lately on reading and writing.
Take care mama!

I hate when my S has tons and tons of toys to play with, but OH he would rather tear the house apart. It makes me crazy!

I think that mischief is a side effect, especially when they know that momma has been worn down by heart-wrenching coughs and a crying baby. Good luck sweetie. You have my sympathy.
