i remember the threats. "if you don't shape up, i'm calling the gypsy's to come and pick you up!" on a particularly bad day my dad actually opened up the phone book and called the *gypsy's,* "we've got one little girl that won't listen to us anymore. will you please come pick her up at your earliest convenience?" being the clever child that i was i asked to see what phone number he had called. granted, i couldn't read, so i just dialed the number he pointed to. when a woman answered, i hung up; i was so scared.
i know that i was a challenging child. i was also an only child until i was 6 1/2 years old. my parents had no idea just how easy they had it. i've got four mini-me's running around now. and i'm beginning to think that i need to get the number for those gypsy's.

could her shirt slogan be any better for the situation? *nobody's perfect: but i come pretty close* and that's the BORROWED roto-tiller, *gulp*
and this was the highlight of my day. watching someone else's backyard burn down. i'm a terrible, terrible person. the kids were so excited to see a real fire, with real firemen, and real squirting water.
and this is what you do when you're sent to your room for the night. you steal mama's camera (only making her happier) and take pictures of yourself. for some reason i don't think she was following the admonition of the man in the picture behind her.

awh but how do you get mad at their cute little faces. thats sad about your neighbor though. :[ that would be awful. i sure do miss you. have you got the kids room done? if you have, i think a picture is in need. loves.
I'm not sure... but it almost looks like a hint of a smirk and a glint of mischief in her eyes in that last photo...
Hugs Jenica!
I don't have spray paint, but I DO have several large holes in my doors and sharpie scribbles along my hallway walls:)
xoxo
Oh my gosh. My uncle used to say "When you've got kids, you don't have anything else." I guess you could add - "anything nice" or "anything that hasn't been drawn on." Jackson and his little friend drew all over my leather Lazy Boy yesterday. I about went postal. Until I remembered that it was just a chair. But it would make me feel better to ruin something of his that he loves. And then I'd have to buy him a new one, anyway. *sigh*
You tell the greatest stories in pictures. And have you ever seen how big the pictures are when viewed on Bloglines? You should try. The ones of Harmony's first days were huge and gorgeous!
In our house, it's stickers. Stickers. Stickers. Stickers. Whereever there has been a place to stick one, one has thus been stuck.
my oh my...{giggle, giggle}
where to begin...
i feel for your neighbours...you know i've been there.
i think e is destined to be a shoe designer ;-)
spray paint...hmmmm...at least yellow is a cheerful colour ;-)
i finally got the photo posted and nominated someone...i don't think my post read very well...if you already read it and agree...i'm SO sorry...i've gone back and editted it, so i hope it reads better now ;-)
i'm thinking you should clean the tub ;-) ...
and soak in some bubbles!!!
love to you...emailing soon...i promise!!!
xoxoxo
we currently are sporting colored walls by crayon, marker, pencil, and pen. we've had MANY things ruined by sharpie markers. even the high-chair has a stick figure drawn on the side of it.
stickers, yes, they are everywhere. i've even found them in diapers, was she trying to stick them on her stomach lining? (patty, i don't even know what a blogline is... wanna email me?)
but spray paint? this is a whole new medium. the city we live in has a graffiti problem, so maybe she's just joining the ranks of other non-appreciated arteeests.
and i should clarify. no people or actual structures were damaged by that fire. i'm of the firm belief that they actually wanted it burned down because i saw it raging from the other end of the valley and drove 25 minutes to see it. we got there at the same time as the fire crews. so i really do think it was purposefully burnt. i would never find joy in the burning up of someone's actual life. :-P
Half of the walls in our home are covered in "G&D" inspired art work. Which is beautiful scrbbles of crayon and pen. And they always seem to get the newly painted areas of the house.
Once you find that number for the gypsies, please share it. I think alot of us mamas will be interested :)
She's a fiesty one, that one is. Good thing she's so cute! She's gonna be t-r-o-u-b-l-e for you in about 9 years. :-) But aren't they all a litle bit of trouble?
I can not imagine what it would be like to be postpartum with 4 babies. I could hardly handle 3, and one of those 3 was totally self sufficient. If i were closer, I'd watch the kiddos for you while you take a 4 hour nap. I'd cook dinner too. Gosh, has anyone told you what a tough cookie you are? You are!
My question is... How do you stay sane with all the craziness??
You are one strong woman!
you are so amazing ... and through it all you still manage to capture their utter cuteness because your love shines through it all ... sending you a warm hug sweetie ... xox
i love the humor in the post, jenica, i can't lie! your attitude rocks.
and i must say, the last picture...the last picture! with sweet jesus in the background! i love that she took your camera for a little SPC action! xxxx
Every time I come here, I get this huge goofy ear to ear grin!
You rock!!
Oh dear...
I remember once at the store the kids were being so so bad. I finally turned around and said "Why do you keep following me?? WHere is your mother??"
I'm horrible.
