it's all good

i married my mom off last night. what a weird sentence for me to even write. my parents were married for 24 years. my mom is now re-married and moved to idaho.

now i have three more siblings and a step dad.
the whole fam damnily

and somehow despite the weirdness and upheaval of my recent boring-having-matrimonial-parents-life, it's all good. the world still turns. my kids are still out of control. i still have a family. and life will move on, hopefully with some more normalcy now.

i luffed seeing my brother and his gorgeous girlfriend. having him in another state has been hard for me. but he's proof once again that life is normal, life is fun, and life is crazy and ok. we came home after the celebration and made cookies and had a slumber party.

what you can't see completely here is that G is stomping the boutonniere box, just trying to wish mazel tov for the event i guess.
G also made sure to eat all the ice out of our pitcher at the family dinner afterwards.

Yep, I know what you mean. I've been to both of my parents' weddings - and my grandparent's!

Your kids are just beautiful! Congrats to your mom. My mom is remarried as well and as long as she is happy that is all that matters! Happy 4th, have a great day!

I think when adult parents get divorced there is a lot of fear about them spending the rest of their lives alone - especially your mom. There has to be something so comforting and wonderful about knowing your mom has found love again - and will be spending her days with love and a companion forevermore.

You all look so happy.

*yay*

I love the ballerina stomp.
