here he is at work, doing the husband thing.
My husband is officially thirty something today. and knowing that he doesn't like people knowing about his birthday, i of course had to write about my undying love and gratitude for him right here in front of the whole world!
so wednesday night j calls and tells me he's on his way home from work. i guess that i should preface this with the fact that j and i have always had very traditional roles in our family, and we love it that way. so i tell him on the phone that i've got a migraine coming on and i just don't plainly feel like making what i was planning on making. so when he shows up i'm eating chips and salsa with the babs, no dinner in sight, dishes piled up the wazoo, loads of laundry eating our bedroom alive, about 3 cups of rice scattered all over the kitchen floor, and frankly i'm just not exactly sure where the older two kids ended up. and instead of saying, "where's my dinner hun?" he plops down and digs into the chips and salsa that i just happened to slave over. the night progresses and so does my migraine. and so my sweet husband digs into the housework and playing with the kids after a 12 hour day at his high stress job. maybe this doesn't sound amazing to YOU, but to me, it was bliss, even with a migraine. he made his own dinner, fed the kids, and even made me my own custom order yummies. i just love this man!

So sweet! What a great guy. He's setting a great example for the whipper snappers too-- being a supportive and loving family man. My husband is that way too. I swear he must have been a woman in a previous life because he is so thoughtful and affectionate. Yayy for me; I'm a lucky gal!

Okay, I know this is lame to myspace you back on your blog. haha, but your page is undergoing maitenence??? anyway!
i looked at her page and those pictures are gorgeous! i would love to take some like that for you! i signed up for a digital photo class next year.. :) but im also learning how to do old time photos, like black and white and sepia and stuff.. im prrrettyyyy excited. haha, so you tell me when and i will come do pictures.. :) it would be a blast.
